2017 Superior Court Survey Available
Over the past two years, Cowlitz County Superior Court has implemented several significant case processing changes. New trial readiness certificates and case scheduling orders were designed and implemented; as well as the Ex Parte process was changed. In addition, we added a civil priority week and a dedicated domestic relations trial day at the Youth Services Center. These changes were designed to enhance and improve our case processing and resolution timeliness.
Periodically, we have received limited feedback from members of the bar association, the public and other community stakeholders. With this survey, we hope to obtain greater and more diverse feedback in order to make future decisions regarding system improvement. The fundamental question that needs to be asked and answered is "Are we improving or not?" Your feedback is critical to answering this question.
"Input from court users and community stakeholders allows us to more effectively meet the needs of our community. As a court system, we can not improve if we do not fully understand the problems.I look forward to receiving all the input so we can continue to improve our service to the community", said Judge Michael Evans.
