RE :In Person / Hybrid Dockets – Effective August 2, 2021

In our continued effort to get back to normal, we are beginning to take substantive steps forward to move more hearings to in-person. All of these decisions are contingent on current infection rates in our community, CDC and L&I guidance, and our local health department's guidance. If we see as surge in our community, we will adjust accordingly but for now we are pleased to be moving some dockets back to more normal proceedings. The dockets that will be in-person and/or have a hybrid component (can have people attend virtually while people appear in person as well) are as follows:

  • Adoptions – hybrid (at Juvenile)
  • Juvenile FF / Trials – in person
  • Judge Evans' Civil Conflict – hybrid
  • Juvenile Detention Hearings – in person
  • Juvenile Offender – hybrid moving to in person only
  • At Risk Youth – hybrid
  • Therapeutic Courts – hybrid to in person only

(HOPE / SAFE Court and adult Drug Court)

  • Wednesday Plea Docket – in person
  • Criminal Motion Dockets (Monday and Friday) – hybrid

We want to remind you that we are still requiring anyone attending a court session in person to wear a mask, screen for COVID-19 symptoms and all are encouraged to socially distance. If you are ill, please do not come to court.

Thank you for your continued patience and for all your collaboration as we make these critical decision.
