Masks Still Required for Court Proceedings

In light of the Governor's and the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) new masking guidelines, the Superior Court will be reviewing the impacts this may have on Court Operations. In addition, this review will include Cowlitz County Public Health officials. Until such time as this review is complete and any potential changes in masking requirements are announced, we will continue to require that all court participants and jurors wear a mask and social distance while in court facilities. It is possible that masks could be required past the June 30th date projected by the Governor.

When the Cowlitz County Superior Court makes any further decisions on masking requirements, we will issue another press release.
