New Domestic Docket Determination

MP900438680_600_400

Please do not forget the new rules determining which Monday Domestic (Family Law) Docket you can note a case onto.

We are no longer are using the check (last) digit to determine which docket the case goes.

It is now determined by the digit to the left of the last dash, since now all new Cowlitz County cases end in the -08 check digit.

For example:

16-3-00001-2  and 17-3-00001-08  Would be odd case numbers -  afternoon docket.

16-3-00002-1  and 17-3-00002-08  Would be even case numbers - morning docket.

Your case may now need to be heard at a different time and with a different judge than you had previously.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!
