Odyssey Court Management System Go-Live May 8

​The Superior Court and the Clerk's Office are pleased to announce that on May 8, 2017, we will be implementing a new statewide Case Management System known as "Odyssey".After nearly 18 months of preparation and hard work by county court personnel, IT staff, facility maintenance staff and the State Administrative Office of the Courts, Cowlitz County will be taking a progressive step forward through the implementation of this system.The new system is designed to improve overall court efficiency and promote easier access to court users.

"Our community will be better served as we upgrade our court case management system.It has been a long time in coming but I know it will assist us in providing better service to our community.It has been a great collaborative effort between the State and our county.I would like to thank the Board of Commissioners for their support and all the county staff who have worked so hard to make this project a reality," said Michael Evans, Presiding Judge.

"My office is looking forward to the implementation of Odyssey.This new System will assist in supporting Superior Court and our users with greater efficiency.My staff have been amazing with attending out of town trainings, juggling current schedules and preparing current data for replication into the new system.We appreciate the support and patience we have received during the long process of replacing our antiquated system," said Staci Myklebust, County Clerk.

As we start to utilize this new program, we ask for your patience as we will need to learn the system and integrate it into our daily workflow which will mean degraded efficiency in the short-term.By the week of May 22, 2017 we should be back to managing our normal workload.
